Any dancer who leaves the Jewels of the Nile troupe and does not return within twelve months must reapply and audition before being accepted once again as an active member of the Jewels of the Nile troupe.
Jewels of the Nile troupe members are required to participate in three dance festivals per year and must attend rehearsals regularly. The selection of dance festivals is the responsibility of the Board of Directors.
Troupe members may be excused from participation in a troupe activity (festival) in cases of family emergency or other critical obligation. It is anticipated that this would be a rare occurrence.
